And here is a crazy statistic that became far to obvious while I was visiting -

Between January and June 2010, there were 95,357 foreclosures in South Florida*

In Miami Florida 1 in every 120 housing units received a foreclosure filing in August 2010.** In Homestead Florida (zip code 33035) 1 in 10 housing units received a foreclosure filing in August 2010.**
